Weaved Apple Keepsake Craft for Fall

Materials

Burlap
Red & Green Fuzzy Sticks (pipe cleaners)
Scissors
Glue
Marker
Canvas or Photo Frame

Instructions

Cut a square piece of burlap.
Use the marker to draw an apple shape on the burlap as a guide for the kids to follow.
Thread a red fuzzy stick through the top and bend it over at the back to start the apple.
Have the kids weave the fuzzy stick around the shape of the apple and bend it again at the back to finish.
If you need to use more than one fuzzy stick, just secure them together by bending at the back side and start to weave again.
Use a green fuzzy stick for the stem and leaf!

Glue the burlap onto canvas or use a photo frame to display.
Great hand eye coordination and fine motor skill activity that also serves as a decoration and keepsake!
