Raise your hand if you love everything to be cluttered and you can’t even find the pen you had in your hand .02 seconds ago! Oh, no one. Okay. Yeah me too!
There is nothing more frustrating than an unorganized classroom space. I love the feeling of organization, but sometimes it gets difficult with piles of worksheets, and graded assignments.
I knew that there had to be a better way to keep everything organized and in its place! Let’s jump into how I keep my homeschool classroom organized and running efficiently!
Desk Space
Having a table or desk separate from your learner is the key first step in controlling the chaos. The saying a place for everything and everything in its place, is so true. Organize lesson plans and curriculum in binders with easy-to-read covers, tabs and spines. Folders for various types of assignments or subjects are perfect for conquering the clutter.
Student Desk
While your space is important, your student’s desk space is as equally as important! This will make your day flow so much smoother when you and your student have specific learning spaces. Color coded folders and book bins are the perfect option for students to store their assignments and supplies in an organized manner.
Track It
How you plan for your day and even your week matters. It really does. Start on the right foot with my homeschool planner and record binder. Keep track of your students’ progress, assignment and schedule all in one convenient location. Plus, the planner is undated, so once you buy it, you can print and use it for years to come!
Track and plan everything from lessons, to field trips and even lunch menus. All of the somewhat random forms like attendance, password, and grade sheets will have a designated location. This will make for more organized, and efficient days, trust me! This planner is truly a homeschool parent’s lifesaver. Don’t forget to grab yours here.
